What are we called to do in light of the moral decline of our nation and world? Shall we watch the deck chairs sliding around or rearrange them on the so-called sinking ship? Of course not! We are called to make a difference but how do we deal with our own apathy and the over-sized problems of our day? Nehemiah exhibits a moral leadership, regardless of the results, in an attempt to continue leading the people of Jerusalem spiritually. He helps put others in a position to glorify God. We are called to exert a similar moral leadership that we might influence others to live a God-glorifying life.
