Political activism is on the rise, especially in an election year, but many Christians fail to put the priority on proclaiming the good news of the gospel.  Real and lasting life change is spiritual, not political.  The best way to engage in politics is to do politics according to Jesus.  That means rendering to the government what is the government's and to God what is God's.  This includes not giving the government what is due to God and living with the biblical picture in mind that we should not hope for politicians to do in our lives what only Jesus can.
