Jesus is indignant over the status conscious disciples refusal to allow parents to bring their children for a blessing from him.  Jesus says that the kingdom of God belongs to children.  The reason has to do with the way children receive the kingdom.  Children come to Jesus trusting, humble, and needy.  We like children must receive the kingdom trustingly by faith, with humility, and acknowledging our own neediness.
