God so loves the world for a purpose:  that His people would love one another.  Loving each other is something that should characterize the church.  However, when we try to love each other in our own power we miserably fail.  God's love  equips and empowers us to love each other.  Faith in Christ, enables God's love for us to flow out to others.  God's love motivates us as well to love each other.
